BIG BOY ADVENTURE VISIT WITH NANA AND BABA

Playing baseball with Baba Steve while Nana Linda is trying to
fly my kite. Nana was getting pretty tired too running around
all over the place, and never got the kite up. Poor Nana!!
Here I am in my "Big Boy Bed"reading a story with Baba Steve!
Today I helped Baba Steve put my big boy together, we
worked real hard putting all the screws in, and tightening my
bed all up so I could sleep in it! It was fun helping him. It was
put together with lots of love!
Here I am in my new "Big Boy Bed" reading a story with Nana
Linda. I love my new Thomas the Train bed set, and my very own
pillow, and so does Lumpy and monkey, they like my new bed too!

Fun in the tub with Nana and Baba, and my new water toy they
brought for me. I loved my new toy!! We had a funtime together,
laughing, screaming, and splashing!

NANA AND BABA MONGE AT PASO ROBLES EAGLE CASTLE WINERY

Pretty windy up here on top of the Eagle Castle! Beautiful view though!!
Well I guess this will have to do, the King wasn't in!

Knocking at the door to see the King of the Eagle Castle.....

Easter Egg Hunt

Here are some pictures from Diego's Easter Egg Hunt at Nana & Baba's house. He sure loved hunting for those eggs. We had to keep re-hiding them because he kept wanting to find more!!! Getting a good picture of him was impossible as he kept running from egg to egg. He also loved looking for toys inside the plastic eggs. What a great idea!
Diego found eggs in the flowers...

In a bush...

On the "brick road"...

Some were in the grass...

Some were on the porch...
They were even in the apricot tree!

It's so hard to get a good picture...Diego was running all over looking for eggs!
Afterward he played with the dinos and other toys he got in his eggs. Here are the dinosaurs hiding in a planter!

Playing with a new ball he found in one of the eggs.
I wish I had audio with this picture. He was roaring as he put each dino on its own brick. LOL!

Thanks for all the fun, Nana & Baba!

Listening To Classical Music and Having Tea With Lumpy, Nana Linda, and Baba Steve

These pictures were taken the last time Diego was visiting us. We had a great time having tea together and listening to classical music. Diego said to me, "Nana I want to listen to classical music." I said, "you do!" Okay, let nana get your chair!" Then Diego said, "nana I want Lumpy too. In case some of you who don't know who Lumpy is, well he is Roo's friend from Winnie the Pooh. Diego loves this little guy, he is soft a cuddly!

Disneyland

A couple weeks ago we were able to spend a few hours at Disneyland, which, of course, we love to do. Nana Linda was able to meet us there for the fun. Here are the very few pictures that Rico took of our short time there.

Nana offered Diego honey pretzels while Mama completed a survey about the changes made to "It's a Small World" (Basically I said, "The paint job looks great, but stop the Disney promotion madness!)

Our first stop was, of course...Small World!

Diego was so excited to go on the Carousel, but he wanted to sit on THE BENCH! We couldn't believe it. I kept asking him do you want this horse or that horse and he kept saying "no" then we got to the bench and he was so excited. What a funny little guy!

Nana Linda and Diego went on Dumbo. The line was long so Rico and I got a mini-date at one of our favorite little places to eat and managed to catch Nana and Diego on the ride!

Diego added another friend to his entourage! Nana Linda bought him "Lumpy" the heffalump at the Winnie the Pooh store. It goes where ever monkey and blankey do!
As you can see, Diego was wiped out from the day. Thanks for lots of fun, Nana Linda!

The Santa Barbara Zoo

Here are some pictures of Diego's trip to the Santa Barbara Zoo with his grandparents. I wasn't there, but it sure looks like they had fun. Hopefully Nana Linda can tell us more about it soon!
